NAPO Chicago Chapter

Our Mission

NAPO Chicago’s mission is to be the leading resource for Organizing and Productivity professionals by providing exceptional education, enhancing business connections, and increasing public awareness. Offering various opportunities for learning, collaboration and leadership, we help improve the value and effectiveness of our members who are dedicated to helping people and organizations bring order and efficiency to their lives.

Our History

NAPO Chicago is one of more than 30 chapters of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO). NAPO Chicago was founded in 1990 and we have grown to be the largest group of professional organizers in the Midwest. Our focus on industry growth and professional development has made us a leading resource for organization and productivity. NAPO Chicago is proud to have earned NAPO’s Chapter of the Year award in 2020.

Our membership is dedicated to creating clutter-free, organized households, and productive workspaces throughout the greater Chicago, southern Wisconsin, and northern Indiana areas.

Governance and Bylaws

NAPO Chicago is governed by a Board of Directors elected annually by our membership of professional organizers, productivity consultants, and business partners.

NAPO CHICAGO STATEMENT ON DIVERSITY, EQUITY AND INCLUSION

As an association, we believe

that the success of NAPO’s mission to be the leading source for Organizing and Productivity professionals relies on the collective efforts of our members of all races, religions, backgrounds, ages, abilities, beliefs, gender identities, and orientations. NAPO welcomes, supports and celebrates the diversity of people who are drawn to our profession and our association.

As professionals, we believe

a diverse, equitable and inclusive professional organization drives innovation within our association, builds successful businesses, and delivers cultural competency in our work with the communities we serve.

As members, we believe

our members should feel valued for their talents and experience, recognized for their contributions, and encouraged to bring their authentic selves to participate in NAPO and our industry.

As a community, we believe

that when people feel appreciated and included, they will be more creative, collaborative, innovative, and successful. We believe that treating each other with respect and kindness in our words and actions builds community within our association and enriches us all.
