The second is by scheduling and passing the CPO exam. In either case, you must also submit an application for recertification, including asserting to continued practice as a professional organizer and abiding by the Board Certified Professional Organizer®️ (BCPO®️) Code of Ethics. If you need additional time, you can apply for either a Recertification Date Adjustment or a Leave of Absence. Please note that you must be current on your Certification Fees to be eligible for recertification. You can refer to the BCPO Handbook for additional information regarding recertification requirements and fees.
