2-4: This is Scary: Embracing Discomfort to Help You and Your Clients Succeed

Sara Skillen, CPO

Mind & Behavior

BEGINNER & INTERMEDIATE

Working with our own fears as well as the fears of our clients is key to successful outcomes, and this session addresses the worry and apprehension that clients often feel (but frequently push aside) about organizing.

During this session, we’ll engage interactively, examine client case studies and feedback, and share ways we can all learn and grow by embracing discomfort. You’ll walk away with actionable steps to increase your connection, ease, and effectiveness with clients.

Session Objectives:
- Understand how a relationship to fear and discomfort affects organizing success
- Identify uncomfortable goals to experiment with
- Increase awareness of language and approaches that either encourage, or shut down organizing progress
- Embrace challenges that deepen authentic understanding and support of our clients
