GENERAL

Google’s powerful suite of free tools gives you the ability to run your business efficiently in the cloud. This “boot camp” will teach you the essentials of using G Suite. You’ll do some core work (Docs, Drive, and Sheets), strength training (Forms, My Business, Keep, and Tasks), sculpting (Slides and Sites), and learn some tips to get your Calendar and Gmail in peak working condition. Make sure you have your laptop and a sweat towel.

Session Objectives:

- Explain the advantages of using cloud-based tools
- Create, share, and organize a Google Doc
- Create a Google Sheet and learn to use basic operations such as sorting, filtering, and pivot tables
- Use Google Forms to automate business processes
- Set up a Google My Business account for your business 
- Use Google Drive for cloud file storage
- Create a website for your business with Google Sites 
- Manage workflow with Google Calendar, Google Tasks, and Google Keep
- Create a presentation for your business with Google Slides

 


Angie Hyche

Angie Hyche is a CPO® (Certified Professional Organizer) and the owner of Shipshape Solutions in Kingsport, Tennessee. She has a B.S. in Biology from Tennessee Technological University and an M.S. in Medical Science from Emory University. After working in the fields of medicine and education, she finally discovered her true calling. She joined NAPO and launched her business in 2016, added a second organizer in 2018, and became a CPO® in 2020. 
 
After running her business with simple tools and paper systems, in 2018 with the help of her software developer husband Eric, she converted all aspects of her business to all digital and never looked back. She enjoys learning about and using the latest digital tools for time management and productivity and teaching clients to use them as well. 
 
When she's not organizing, Angie loves to ride on bike trails and hike with her husband Eric and to act in community theatre productions. 

 

Eric Hyche

Eric Hyche holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Tennessee Technological University, and a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech. He is currently a Senior iOS Engineer with Noom, and has worked previously in software development roles for Groupon, RealNetworks, Iterated Systems, and NCR. Outside of work, Eric advocates for STEM education in his role on the board of education for Kingsport City Schools, a role he has held since 2014. He also enjoys hiking, biking, reading, and baseball.
