In Leading from the Middle in a Multicultural Environment, Moji Akinde will empower NAPO Chicago members to see themselves as culture-shapers, balancing the realities of client relationships, staff advocacy, and inclusive leadership. Drawing on cross-sector leadership expertise and nationally recognized speaking engagements, Moji will introduce a proprietary framework of influencing up, leading across, and supporting down, to help participants navigate today’s diverse and multigenerational environments.

This interactive session will highlight the unique role of middle leaders in shaping culture through everyday influence and micro-decisions; equipping leaders to boldly model the world they want to live in, one interaction at a time.

Key Takeaways to be gained from this program:

  • Practical Strategies and scripts to create safe spaces
  • Respectfully redirect client behavior
  • Empower staff to set healthy boundaries
