Event Info

This presentation is designed to empower professional organizers to use technology to grow their businesses, whether or not they consider themselves technologically savvy. The presentation focuses on how and why technology can help organizers serve more clients, make more money, and appear more professional while doing all of that.

Learning Objectives

In this presentation, participants will understand the benefits of a tech stack for a solopreneur, get comfortable with using technology, and learn how to select and use technology in their businesses.

Presenter: Lucy Milligan Wahl

Lucy Milligan Wahl is the founder of LMW Edits, a San Francisco-based boutique professional organizing company founded in 2014. Her organizing work focuses on common sense solutions for modern urban living.

Lucy and her team have organized for dual income families, recent grads, tech CEO’s, tweens and teens, and all the busy people who call San Francisco home. She is a Golden Circle member of the National Association of Professional Organizers, holding certificates in Essentials of Organizing and Residential Organizing. She has served the NAPO-SFBA chapter on the Marketing Committee and most recently as Director of Communications 7 Technology. Lucy is an official Container Store Ambassador and a Trustworthy Certified Expert, among the first cohort of professional organizers to adopt this new technology and assist clients with implementation.

When she’s not organizing, Lucy’s giving back. She chaired the board of CounterPulse through its recent capital campaign and currently serves on the board of HomeWorks Trenton. Lucy also volunteers as Assistant Director of the National Ski Patrol at Alpine Meadows Palisades Tahoe with over 12 years of service.

Lucy holds an AB from Princeton University and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.  She lives in San Francisco with her husband, Andrew, and rescue pitbull, Pippa.
