4-1: The Prequel to Time Management and Productivity: Uncovering the Obstacles to Conquer Whats Gets in Your Way

What if your client doesn’t “get it” when you’re coaching time management and productivity strategies? What do you need to know about your client’s “time personality” before you start the process to create systems? Our clients need to truly understand what’s in their way to get unstuck and started. In this workshop, we take you through a series of exercises specifically designed to help your clients uncover their relationship between time, motivation, and productivity.  

Learning Objectives: 
Analyze the social, emotional, and intellectual elements that rob our clients of time, and pinpoint key tools toward reframing these roadblocks.  
Learn the brain-based behaviors required to build one’s relationship to time, and the structures for changing the nature of that association. 
Recognize the differences between motivation management and time management, and the significant role that environment plays in both.
Teach your clients to uncover their own time personality profile, in order to maximize productivity practices. 



Leslie Josel

Leslie Josel is the Principal of Order Out of Chaos. She's an award-winning entrepreneur, author and acclaimed speaker. Leslie is the creator of the Academic Planner: A Tool for Time Management®, a planner that helps students develop and master time management skills, and the author of “What’s the Deal with Teens and Time Management”, a parents' guide to help teach their students the time management skills they need.

A respected resource on ADHD and Executive Functioning, Leslie writes a weekly column called “Dear Organizing Coach by Leslie Josel” for ADDitude Magazine, the premiere resource for adults and children with ADHD and LD.  She is also a contributing writer for Family Circle Magazine and writes about a wide variety of topics facing parents and their kids. 

She brought “Order Out of Chaos” to life from a very personal mission. Leslie's son was diagnosed with ADHD and executive dysfunction. She founded the company 15 years ago to provide professional organizing, time management and coaching services; parent and family education, & products and resources to families and their students to help bring order out of chaos to their lives.

Leslie is a graduate of the JST Coach Training Program for students with ADHD.  



Regina Lark

Dr. Regina Lark is the founder and owner A Clear Path: Professional Organizing and Productivity. Dr. Lark earned a Ph.D. in U.S. Women’s History from the University of Southern California then worked with the UCLA Women’s Studies program. In 2008 she left higher education to start A Clear Path. Regina is a Certified Professional Organizer (CPO) and a Certified Professional Organizer in Chronic Disorganization (CPO-CD).  

Regina specializes in working with chronic disorganization, ADHD, and hoarding. She is a speaker and trainer on issues ranging from hoarding, time management and productivity, women’s leadership, and the power of positive thinking.

In 2017, Regina released the 3rd edition of first book, Psychic Debris, Crowded Closets: The Relationship between the Stuff in your Head and What's Under your Bed. She is also the author of Before the Big O: Professional Organizers Talk about Life Before Organizing. Named one of Top 10 Organizers in Los Angeles by CBS/KCAL Channel 2, she was also awarded Most Innovative Organizer at the 8th Annual the Los Angeles Organizer Awards.  Regina is in her final year as Member Director of the NAPO Board. For fun, she writes goofy songs about clutter.
