Emeritus/Retired Membership Status

Stay active in the industry while you share your knowledge as a Subject Matter Expert. Volunteer your time and serve in leadership roles through NAPO national or on the local level. Emeritus/Retired members receive essential NAPO membership benefits, retain their voting privileges, and are eligible to serve on the Board of Directors.

 

$75/year

As an Emeritus/Retired NAPO Member, you’ll continue to enjoy many of the benefits of NAPO membership. Please note: Emeritus/Retired Members are not listed in the Professional Directory as they are no longer actively working.

Membership Benefits

To be eligible for Emeritus/Retired Member Status, you must be retired from the profession, at least 55 years of age, and a NAPO member in good standing for at least 12 years.

 

Offer your advice as a seasoned professional while you stay current on NAPO news, network with like-minded professionals, and more with the Productivity & Organizing Interactive Networking Tool (POINT). Think of it as NAPO’s private social network.

Contribute to curriculum development and teach online courses by becoming a qualified, subject-matter expert at NAPO University.

Contribute to the professional development and continuing education of Organizing and Productivity Professionals by leading a session at the NAPO Annual Conference/Summit.

Share your years of experience and knowledge by authoring articles for the NAPO "Get Organized & Be Productive" blog or as a guest speaker on the "Stand Out" Podcast Series. These are additional and member-inclusive ways you can contribute to the ongoing conversation shaping and advancing the Organizing and Productivity professions.

Special Interest Groups (SIGs) provide NAPO Members with the opportunity to expand their knowledge in a niche market, eligible members receive 2 complimentary SIG memberships. Each SIG holds regularly scheduled virtual meetings. SIGs include: Authorship & Publishing, Coaching, Environmentally-Conscious Organizers, Moving & Relocation, Speaking for Fees and more.
