NAPO2019 Education Levels & Session Tracks 

EDUCATION LEVELS

The education levels below are used to indicate to the attendees whether or not they need experience in the topic before attending. It's important that sessions are properly categorized so attendees can select their sessions accordingly.
 
Beginner Courses have the following criteria:
• For individuals with very limited or no prior knowledge of the subject area
• For individuals that are exploring the industry, brand new to the field, or in the very early stages of starting an Organizing or Productivity business
• For individuals seeking to learn very basic fundamentals about a subject area

General Courses have the following criteria:
• Helps veterans and new organizers learn about the subject area
• For individuals seeking to learn the fundamentals about a subject area
• For individuals interested in expanding their general knowledge about Professional Organizing and Productivity Consulting

Advanced Courses have the following criteria:
• For individuals with greatly developed knowledge and seeking to heighten their knowledge and move ahead in the subject area
• For individuals seeking information to aid in the growth or progress of knowledge
• For individuals seeking the most up-to-date knowledge in the subject area
• For individuals who could be deemed an expert in the field


CONFERENCE TRACKS

BUSINESS GROWTH TRACK:
This track supports attendees in the gaining of skills and perspectives to grow their businesses.The conference committee seeks submissions from those that excel at helping others weave their way to business success and can include concepts such as:

• Accounting 
• Payroll
• Tips and Strategies to Enhance Profitability
• Legal Considerations
• Business Solutions for CRM
• Opportunities for Growth 
• Additional Revenue Streams
• Business Innovation
• Marketing
• Social Media
• Effectively Creating and Managing Teams/Employees

BUSINESS PRODUCTIVITY TRACK:
This track supports attendees in the gaining of knowledge, skills and tools to enhance their productivity consulting expertise.The Conference Committee seeks submissions from those that are experts in any of the following areas:

• Working with Individuals, Teams & Virtual Teams
• Workflow Process Improvement
• Lean Methodologies
• Procedural Teaching Ideologies 
• How to Measure Efficiency and Productivity
• Benefits and Drivers of Productivity 
• Productivity & Efficiency Tools, Systems, Philosophies, and Skill Sets.
• Leadership Development

RESIDENTIAL TRACK:
This track will emphasize mastery of organizing skills and principles. The conference committee seeks submissions from experts focusing on the following concepts:

• Hands on Organizing Systems or Methodologies
• Family and/or Household Management
• Life Transitions and Downsizing 
• Move Management: 
- Anything related to moving and staging including systems and methodology
• Garage and Estate Sales
• Strategies for Working Effectively with Clients
- Support, humor, tough love approach

TECHNOLOGY TRACK: 
This track supports attendees in expanding their knowledge, skills, tools and resources to enhance their professionalism in this ever-changing field.  The conference committee seeks submissions from experts focusing on the following areas:

• Utilizing various software programs such as; Slack, Microsoft Teams,HubSpot, Boomerang, IFTTT, Dropbox Paper, Hootsuite, (as well as    others)
• Comparing similar programs such as Evernote and OneNote (as well as Others)               
• Digital Financial Organizing 
• Technology Management
• The Pros and Cons of Technology in our society, on our daily lives, etc.
• How Technology Impacts our Interpersonal Relationships
• Gender Gap/Age Gap in Technology
• Is Technology Making Us Anxious?
• Collaborative Technology Solutions
• Pros and Cons of Handwriting vs. Apps

CHALLENGING NEEDS TRACK: 
This track will increase attendees’ proficiency in communication techniques, organizing skills and principles working with specific needs populations. The conference committee seeks submissions from experts focusing on the following niche categories:

• Hoarding
• Organizing Methods for working with Individuals with Sensory Loss 
• Challenges and Solutions for working with Seniors 
• Simple Strategies for working with the Elderly and those with Mobility Issues 
• Successful methods for working with people with ADHD, ADD, CD, Mental Health issues and/or disabilities
