Allied Membership

An Organizing and Productivity Professional who does not offer services to the general public may be eligible to join NAPO as an Allied Member.  An Allied Member is typically employed by a government agency, post-secondary educational institution,  non-profit organization, for-profit entity or self-employed.



Allied Members receive many NAPO membership benefits, may serve as a Director on NAPO's Board and participate in Board votes as part of Board service, but does not have general voting privileges and cannot serve as an Officer of NAPO.

An Allied Membership gives you instant access to most of NAPO membership benefits. Since Allied Members do not offer services to the general public, they are not listed in the Professional Directory.

Ask questions on any and all topics, join community-specific forums, exchange client referrals, stay current on NAPO news, network with like-minded professionals, and more with the Productivity & Organizing Interactive Networking Tool (POINT). Think of it as NAPO’s private social network.

Access members-only content and discounted coursework through NAPO University. Taught by qualified, subject-matter experts, NAPO University’s curriculum includes on-demand classes, and Certified Professional Organizer exam prep.

An association membership can set you apart from your colleagues and indicates your commitment to industry standards and excellence. Don’t forget to include your NAPO membership on your C.V.

Special Interest Groups (SIGs) provide NAPO Members with the opportunity to expand their knowledge in a niche market, eligible members receive 2 complimentary SIG memberships. Each SIG holds regularly scheduled virtual meetings. SIGs include: Authorship & Publishing, Coaching, Environmentally-Conscious Organizers, Moving & Relocation, Photo Organizers, Speaking for Fees and more.
