I have my BA in Liberal Arts and recently graduated with my MA in Organizational Management with a specialization in Project Management. My experience with paid organizing is limited and I have only assisted friends and family with organization tips. I would love to volunteer for an organization while I begin taking the education portion of the NAPO section which I think will really provide the stepping stones I need.
Organizations I have volunteered for locally: Food Share, Habitat for Humanity, Channel Islands Restoration and Vitalant Blood Services.
I was recently laid off from my Aerospace job where my focus was Sales, Marketing and Organizational Processes. In my search for new work, I have had to sit down and brainstorm for something that is more inline with my passions and innate organizational nature. The thought to become a professional organizer and productivity consultant seemed like a dream until I started to search and learned of NAP. I am interested in learning more about how I can put this exceptional skill to work and become a solopreneur and eventually entrepreneur.
