| Description | Course Description: This course is for the beginning organizer who wants to build a strong foundation of skills and knowledge to launch a successful business organizing practice. The class examines organizing practices that apply to working with professionals in a business setting, including home offices, corporations, commercial enterprises, and other business settings. Using case studies and examples from the instructor’s first-hand experience, participants will be introduced to strategies that address modern workplace challenges. The class covers business client assessments; the basics of agreements/contracts; an introduction to workflow analysis, filing mechanics and systems, and time management strategies, and an examination of communications in business as it effects productivity. Learning Objectives: Upon completion of this course, attendees should be able to: List the key features of a client agreement for a business organizing project. |
