his centerpiece class trains students in a coaching model designed specifically for organizers in their work with clients. Powerful receptive coaching skills will be defined, explained and demonstrated – and practiced to proficiency in on-going groups of three students with targeted trainer attendance. The core competencies and ethics of coaching will be reviewed, as will resources from the coaching field. The training is designed to deepen and transform the communication and understandings organizers have with their clients. Clients will be more engaged and committed to the organizing sessions, the structure you provide, and the systems you create together. The quality and results of your work will noticeably improve, thereby increasing client satisfaction and your success. The services you can offer will expand.

Each training class will be recorded and available for a week in case an unavoidable obligation prevents your attendance.

Commitment: This seven-week training includes: seven 1.5 hour weekly teleclasses, six 1.5 hours weekly small-group skills-building calls, and approximately seven hours independent work. (The three members of each small group will schedule a regular meeting time at their convenience. Trainers will attend two of your small group sessions.)

This class can be used for CPO® recertification continuing education hours (13.5 hours of training). It is also suitable for coach certification training hours.
