Description

Designed for intermediate and advanced Professional Organizers, this course reviews the time management skills, theories and concepts that will influence your client’s use of time. It shows how to adapt and transfer this information to your client, and measure the results afterwards. This is a telecourse and will be delivered in two 2 hour modules.

Upon completion of the curriculum, participants will be able to:

Direct the client through the priority, goal setting, planning and scheduling process.
Identify the weaknesses, behaviors and habits that sabotage your client’s ability to manage their time and keep their lives in balance.
Show the client how to change habits, curb procrastination and perfectionism, and use time in a way that increases personal and family time.
Identify the technological devices and other resources available to positively impact your client’s use of time.
Measure the results of these interventions.

The course will provide specific forms, graphics, illustrations, exercises and resources needed to model, teach and coach your clients in effective time use. Although emphasis will be on residential clients, business situations will be discussed as well.

Participants will receive notes, training instruments, glossary of terms, articles, references and other resources.
