Inside the Mind of a Master Procrastinator

Deb Lillard

Guided Ted Talk Discussion
General
We all know procrastinators in our life. I'm sure no Professional Organizer would first identify as a procrastinator but after hearing his explanation, you may think again. Most of us have heard talks about the psychological short comings of someone who hoards or chronically disorganized, but what about the cause or rationale for procrastination. Join me for a lively discussion around this topic and walk away with ideas you can use in our personal and professional lives.

Objectives

  • Identify the two types of Procrastination and their effects
  • Discuss ways you can help someone to stop procrastinating about one project or goal.
  • Discuss what causes us to procrastinate
  •  Discuss a strategy to help us take action
