Alexis Boccanfuso

As a young girl on the East Coast, Alexis knew what she wanted to be when she grew up - a roller derby queen or the CEO of a company. Alexis attended college in Southern California when she wasn't at the beach. Several earthquakes later, with a business degree in hand and dreams of being a roller derby queen set aside, Alexis headed to the Big Apple to start her career in consulting and project management. After ten years, she left the New York City corporate world to be a S@HM in Connecticut. Ten years after that she finally became the CEO of a company by establishing her productivity and organizing consulting business, clutter|phobe!

Alexis has studied numerous organizing theories and uses a combination of American and Japanese organizing styles and incorporates Buddhist principles in her client work. She has found that her clients find their work together "enlightening".

In her spare time, Alexis curls and coaches at the local curling club, makes and sells origami ornaments, and studies and practices Buddhism. She also loves to binge watch on Netflix.
