The awards were presented during the organization’s annual conference and organizing exposition in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO), a nonprofit association representing professional organizers and productivity specialists, today announced the recipients of its 2013 Organizing Excellence Awards, which recognize local and national organizations in which organizational expertise, success, and structure are integral to achieving their missions. The awards were presented on April 20 at the NAPO2013 Annual Conference and Organizing Exposition in New Orleans. Local community organization Animal Rescue New Orleans (ARNO) and the national organization Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) were honored.

Since 2000, NAPO members--consisting of approximately 4,000 professional organizers, productivity specialists, educators, product manufacturers, and service providers from around the world--have voted for their favorite organizing and productivity tools at their annual conference. These solutions represent the industry's foremost products and services that help individuals and businesses achieve and maintain order, efficiency and productivity. This year, the award categories were expanded from four to ten to acknowledge the significant growth of resources available in the global organizing and productivity industry.
